The Pákozd-Sukoró Arboretum of 96 hectares territory is situated in the most beautiful region of the Lake Velence. 250 tree and shrub species and a lot of interesting sights all await for our dear guest. From the lookout you can take pleasure in the landscape. The country museum gives inspection in the cultural history of the surroundings, presents the amentity of the landscape, fallows it's geohistorical emergence, the climate, the geological and the edaphic conditions and it's hydrography. Visitors get a taste from the exceptionally rich and diverse flora and fauna. In the entrance hall there is a fishing exhibition. On the forest demonstration trail you can get aquainted with the role of the forest and the foresters.

The forest gymnastic course, the playgrounds and the grass courts situated in the valley by the pond are suitable for outdoor games and sports.

The covered eating and resting places - which is suitable for group program -, the network of drinking water, the firemaking places, the toilets all served our visitors.

The famous forest open-air school is situated in the arboretum. 3000 children get acquainted here with the secrets of the nature every year.
