Accessibility: on the highway M 3 from Budapest to Hatvan, than on the road 21st, at Tar you pass a buddhist Stupa, than you get to Sámsonháza.
The village is partly inhabited by slovaks.
The National Blue Trail is a very popular destination for the tourists with tourist signs.
The stone mine at the outskirt of the village is under protection, because of its geological values. The deposit layers of volcanic andesite and andesitsite tufa can be wll observed here.
For the tourists there is a guesthouse for 30 people.
The Past
According to a legend the village was named after a Landlord called Samson, who was living around the area at the begining of the the 12th century.
Oral tradition claims that he was the one who built the Castle of Fehérkő, which is on the hill towering above the village.
The supervisor of the local lutheran church was Lajos Kossuth, who accepted this title in 1871
