With its 334 inhabitants on the ridge of Vas, southwest of Körmend the village is part of the Őrség District of Landscape Conservation. Special mention shall be made of the Saint Elizabeth church of the Árpád age. Lake and forest park Himfai in the outskirts of the village are ideal places of excursion.
