Budapest and the Central Danube Region
Csömör is village in Hungary, in Pest county, in the Gödöllőer smallcounty (kistérség). It's wester than Kistarcsa, northern than the 16<sup>th</sup> district, Budapest, on the westest part of the Gödöllőer hills, in the turning of the Csömörer stream.
The history of the Village
Ceramic pieces are found from the new stone age (3200–3000 BC) in the area of the Urasági-tag, the Bab-földek and the Rét-pótlék.Ceramic pieces are found from the bronze age (1900–1800 BC) on the area of the Urasági-tag and the Szeder-völgyi-dűlő. On the N<sup><u>o</u></sup> 64 Erzsébet Street are found troves from the vatyai culture <!-- Hasn't it an English name? 'Cause I haven't found, and I'm not sure. --> (1700–1400 BC).
A celtic cementary is dug out behind the strand, from the iron age (380-300 BC). There are between the troves bracelets, fibulas, chiffons, a scabbard with sword, and chain.
Between the 3<sup>rd</sup> and the 4<sup>th</sup> century there was a Sarmatian village on the area of Csömör, both sides of the stream. During the exploration a Roman bowl (from the 3<sup>rd</sup> century) and pottery is found.
Pieces of bowl is found on the area of the Réti-dűlős (singular: Réti-dűlő)and Rétpótlék from the Avar age.
Ceramic pieces are found on the area of the Káposztáss (singular: Káposztás) and Réti-dűlős, what're made between the 10<sup>th</sup> and the 11<sup>th</sup> century.
