A 10 minutes walk far from the historical centre of Eger, in a quiet and picturesque environment there stands the three-star István Guesthouse.

Our five double bedrooms are equipped with television set and refrigerator, and every room has its own bathroom. On the first floor there is the communal kitchen, with refrigerator and microwave oven, in addition on nice, summer nights you have the opportunity to have a barbecue or to cook a Hungarian kettle goulash in the garden.

Our guesthouse has a separated car park, but you may park your car in the garage under the building. In the building there is even a hairdresserss salon and a manicure-pedicure salon, which our guests can use with 10% allowance.

In case you want to go motor boating or to go angling, then you can visit Lake Ostorosi or Lake Tisza. The latter is one of the most beautiful gems of Hungary.

With an enjoyable 5-minute-long walk you can get to the open-air swimming-pool of Eger, which is famous for its medical waters. The biggest swimming-pool of Heves county, the Bitskey Aladár swimming-pool, is close to the lido, and it is a pretty good place for the lovers of swimming. On request we introduce the best wine-cellars of Eger, and you can taste the rightly world-famous wines of Eger.
